When the focus is skin quality, not lines
Not everyone who walks through the door wants to erase a line or restore volume. Some people come because their skin looks tired — not in a way that makeup fixes, but in a way that suggests the skin itself could be healthier. Dullness, roughness, a loss of that quiet resilience that good skin has.
PDRN is a treatment for that concern. It does not fill, freeze, or resurface. It works with the skin's own repair processes, encouraging a healthier, more resilient complexion from within.
What PDRN is
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a regenerative treatment derived from purified DNA fragments. When introduced into the skin, it supports the body's natural tissue repair mechanisms — encouraging cell turnover, improving healing, and helping the skin function more effectively over time.
It is often chosen by people who are looking for skin quality rather than structural change. If your concern is texture, tone, or overall skin health rather than a specific line or fold, PDRN may be the more appropriate starting point.
How it works
PDRN is delivered as a series of superficial injections spread across the treatment area. The solution is placed just beneath the skin's surface, where it stimulates fibroblast activity — the cells responsible for producing collagen and maintaining the skin's structure.
The effect is not instant. Over the following weeks, the skin gradually becomes smoother, more even, and more resilient. It is a treatment that works by supporting what the skin already does, rather than overriding it.
A course-based approach
PDRN is rarely a one-off treatment. We typically recommend a course of three to four sessions, spaced a few weeks apart, for meaningful results. The skin continues to improve for weeks after each session as the regenerative processes take hold.
This is something we discuss openly at consultation. If you are looking for an immediate transformation, PDRN is not the right treatment. If you are willing to invest in a gradual, progressive improvement in skin quality, it can be a worthwhile approach.
What happens at your appointment
Sarah begins with a full assessment of your skin and medical history. She will examine the areas you are concerned about and discuss whether PDRN is the right treatment for your goals — or whether a different approach, or a combination, might serve you better.
The treatment itself takes around thirty minutes. A series of small injections are placed across the treatment area using a fine needle. Discomfort is minimal, and you can return to your normal day afterwards, though you may experience some mild redness and swelling.
Who it's for
PDRN is suited to people looking for overall skin improvement rather than targeted line correction. It can be used on the face, neck, and décolletage. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
We will be honest at consultation about what PDRN can achieve for your skin specifically. If your concerns would be better addressed by a different treatment, we will say so.
