I have always been a quiet, deeply reflective clinician. I don't believe that excellence needs to shout to be heard, and I have never been drawn to advertising loudly.
For 24 years, my clinical life has been rooted inside a specialist surgical service, working alongside an exceptional consultant podiatric surgeon. Together we built something I am genuinely proud of — an unhurried, meticulous service where no detail is ever missed and every patient is treated with the same careful, step-by-step attention. It was in that calm, disciplined environment that I truly mastered my craft, including advanced training directly under a consultant anaesthetist in complex, ultrasound-guided needle techniques.
Over two decades of looking deep beneath the skin — analysing tissue planes, fascial layers, and vascular architecture in real time — has given me a skillset I now understand to be genuinely rare. I use that ultrasound capability not just in treatment, but to teach: guiding surgeons and anaesthetists in precisely mapping structural pathways under a screen. It feels entirely ordinary to me, which is perhaps the clearest sign that it has become second nature.
Under ultrasound, tissue looks the same wherever it is: skin is skin, nerve is nerve and an artery is an artery, whether in the face, a foot or an arm. I may not have been treating faces for 24 years, but I have spent a very long time studying tissue planes from the bone upwards, and I bring that directly to my aesthetic work. I continue to work in surgical practice alongside my consultant colleague, and I don't place dermal filler without first knowing where the vessels are.

To bring this standard of clinical discipline to advanced facial care, I undertook extensive aesthetics training at the Harley Street Institute — one of the most respected medical aesthetics training providers in the UK. This wasn't a short course. The Harley Street Institute is where clinicians go to have their understanding of facial anatomy, complex vascular structures, and precise clinical dosing rigorously tested and verified. My background meant I arrived with a deep anatomical foundation; what the Institute gave me was the specific aesthetic application of it — the facial architecture, the structural assessment, the discipline of conservative clinical dosing. It is where my surgical precision met advanced aesthetic practice.
Because I care deeply about patient safety, I am an overthinker by nature. I don't rush, and I don't follow generic templates. When I reach for my ultrasound probe before a deep structural filler treatment, it is because your facial anatomy is unique, and it deserves to be treated that way.
